Ray Basawa

When enrolling his son R.J. for classes with Sa Bum Nim Jim Liguori his passion for the Martial arts returned. After a 15yr layoff from the Martial Arts Ray returned to become a Student of Jim's first Adult Class that began at Prince Township in 2001. Previous experience came in the Hard Style Karate Martial Arts. Ray has since trained exclusively in Dahn Moo Do under Jim Liguori for the past ten years. Ray was awarded his blackbelt in October of 2005 and currently working towards his 2nd degree. Ray has attending several seminars over the years including training with Grandmaster Lee at the Muskoka Training Center.

Ray is an avid sports enthusiast coaching and teaching several sports especially all pertaining to the Martial Arts.
